A comparison of the three countries shows that the United States and Mexico are very similar in their public views of religion in education, whereas Canada and the United States were founded by religious motives. Economics and geography may vary per country but historical facts, whether local or global, will always play a role in the past, present and future of religion in the school system. Each country examined has its own way of handling religion involving government, school related religious issues, and its interpretation of the law according to each individual case.
